Crafty Winboard certainly can use its own book and book learning in a tournament
under the Chessbase GUI. I don't know whether it was CB or WB Crafty 19.13.

It's fine Crafty CB exists since average users have no clue how to set up the
Winboard Crafty in Fritz GUI.

People who publish tournament results however should IMO always use the Winboard
executables (In case programs are allowed to use their own books).
