Go to "Environment"..."Create custom board".
Set the size and colors as desired.
(I suggest a medium size, so the following pieces will work.)
(Also, I like dark grey and light grey for square colors.)
Go to "Environment"..."Select pieces and board"
Choose "Black and White figurine".
The result is a very clean and simple board and set.

I don't know if it is the same as the one in CM5500.
