Please don't take offense but even if your facts were straight, the comment pretty much begs for trouble. As it turns out, Bruce couldn't have said what you think he did because he is not involved at all in the Chris W thing, as I think he already said. I'm sure you misunderstood him. I would like to make the appeal to the whole membership that when the new moderators are elected, let them do the moderating. It's tough enough and even though the intent is well meaning, you've just added a new bunch of variables to the equation so to speak. What will happen is that we will make some decision, perhaps to make a pulic post, or to privately deal with some matter, and then someone will come along and give a speech like yours. The moderators will try in most cases to keep it off the group, but someone will feel obligated to offer their own public rebuke. And then the it gets to go around all over again.
