Is CM, Fritz, and Crafty all not allowed in prison?

as far as i know no PC program(chess or otherwise) has ever been sentenced to a
prison term
usually Bill Gates gets his high powered legal team in high gear to represent
all windows based programs and so far none have been sentenced to serve any
actual time behind bars
:))

Seriously though..even if they do have computers in prison i am sure the inmates
would not be permitted to run the program for days on end, non-stop to come up
with the next move in a postal game
at best they might be alloted an hour or so per day..so it would not be the same
as playing someone who is using a chess program full time to make the moves
