To avoid undue election influence, the idea of restricting moderator voting to those who have been members for a certain period of time seems to have resonated with the membership. The times stated have differed, so I propose a compromise of 30 days. I hope the new moderators will prevail upon ICD to exclude the remailers. That's a minimum step to promote orderly discussion. It will unfortunately exclude a few good people, but there's always a tradeoff. Will
