Hi Steve,

there's a soviet-made dedicated chess computer I've seen
lately in an old chess magazine.

It's name is "Stateg" with 8 playing levels and can solve
problems too.

Strateg is a table-top comp and not a handheld unit.

There's poor quality black & white photo of it in
"64 - Shakhmatnoye obozrenyiye" issue 9/1987 on page 27.

Unfortunately I have no scanner at hand to scan it for you.
