My 1.4 GHz Pentium-M regularly does 1M nps with Crafty 19.3. (That's
_considerably_ faster than my older stationary P4 2.2GHz box, btw.) Your numbers
seem quite off. Check so that the hash sizes are considerably smaller than your
available RAM, so it doesn't swap to disk, and check so that you don't run in
some power saving mode. HTH.
