I have played few games of PF2 on Dell Axim oc to 590 Mhz - I think it is roughly 1/13 to 1/20 th of my P4 1.7 Ghz in chess computational power ( there are other factors besides mhz that impact the speed and my recollection is a little fuzzzy here - it was several months ago). It can beat Genius 3 on the P4 1.& Ghz - I have just played few games - but the fact that it cab beat it at all is amazing to me. Genius 3 was considered the best in 1993/1994 (based on my recollection). Programming has clearly improved since 1994 in my view.
