We recently had a thread here about problems with Crafty and Arena. It is _very_ easy to install Crafty under Winboard/Xboard and use it that way. It is also easy to install it under the Chesspartner interface and be able to use the default books for Crafty. Anything that needs an "adapter" to even gain functionality I would avoid. Either it has the support, or it doesn't. Just because it works, doesn't mean it works well. Peter
