You can not give this in the >.rc file Crafty needs to have this when it starts. When using Remi Coulom's Winboard wb0047, I only place the egtb in the .rc file. It starts up saying 6 piece found. As well as book, hash, learn, resign, Whisper ......... In Arena all it has is the Wcrafty.XX-XX and the rc file to start up? Chris
