I am using an AMD Athlon XP 2600+ with 1 Gig of DDR SDRAM. I have loaded the Convekta 9 Disc Set of Nalimov Tablebases. Some of the Tablebase 5 man Files are missing. I used the Tablebase Generator to Generate all of the missing files. I noticed that the KRPKQ was taking a very long time to complete. I cancelled, and chose to create the other remaining missing files first. This took a few days to complete, leaving the above mentioned endgame file for last. Although similar in size to some of the other files........KRPKQ takes forever to generate. I have been running this one file generation for over 48 hours. Other files, that were similar in size took over 4 hours, but not over 48. I have created the missing files in the past, but I do not remember if one file took this much time last time around with the same computer. Any info on this would be greatly appreciated. I had a copy on DVD of the Generated Tablebase files, but the copy disappeared. I will have extra copies this next time around. Thanks Brian
