It's an interesting technique, but can you give examples of Chessbase using it. Surely, they can't be changing the DTM EGT files themselves, as that would change the MD5sum signature and cause WILHELM to cry 'fault'. Being able to check your MD5sum file-signature is a guard against a fault in the publication process, of which there has been a recent example. g
