When you reboot and see the shutdown message goto Start > Run > and type shutdown /a 2. Once that is completed, go here to get the Blaster removal tool: http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/w32.blaster.worm.removal.tool.html 3. While that is downloading, get the free version of ZoneAlarm: http://www.zonelabs.com/store/content/company/products/znalm/freeDownload.jsp 4. I would then remove the virus via the tool, then install ZoneAlarm. 5. Reboot. 6. I would then hope on over to TrendMicro for a free virus check: http://housecall.trendmicro.com 7. For a free anti-virus solution head to: http://www.grisoft.com And grab the free version of AVG Anti-Virus. Install it. Use it. If you have any other problems, please do not hesitate to email me. Peter.
