Thank Goodness! (I'm affraid to use GOD), someone got it! Frankly, I was amazed
at the amount of downright anger that the post about Chess Master 6000 being a
toy engendered. As I put in an earier post; CM6000 is a toy, an incredibly good
TOY. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that! In fact, I admit it, I was
thinking before I posted, can the header of the post alone really be responsible
for people 'getting all worked up', so I posted this good natured post, which by
the way has the essestial truth in it, as a little experiment too see. Also
right after posting it, I was thinking, should I add more of a disclaimer then,
"Ho, Ho, Ho," Maybe that reference to the movie 'Big' and the scene in the
corporate board room would have helped?

And, I wanted to know (out of my human curiousty), would this provocative
header, make my thread last longer? Usaully my threads wind down much more
quickly. So the answer would appear to be yes.

And, I see nothing wrong with endless post about Chess Master. This is after
all the computer chess club. People will talk about what they want. I did (and
other's for sure), have noticed, almost a 'religious fervour' developing between
a group of poster's who are master's, and feel 'wronged' by KK's inabilitiy to
admit he was wrong, and KK himself, who (even if he is wrong & won't admit it),
keeps posting 'answers' to these poster's that will never satify them. Frankly,
I found this whole thing quite enjoyable & funny in itself, and makes me further
aware of the fact that I am one of you (The women say I'm going to do my work
now, have fun at your little chess club...), I get all worked up about certain
issues, and want to post about them, especially if someone says I'm wrong. But
the other side of me knows I am very addicted to this, and nobody in the 'REAL
WORLD' understands most of it, or even gives a damn if you try to explain it to
them. I think that's why I don't like the, 'REAL WORLD' (as my parents used to
call it), very much. They just don't get us.

So in the interest of Peace, Love and (supposed), good cheer of the holliday's,
I hope everybody will just lighten up, and see the humor in all this.

P.S. - I'm moving from Seattle to NY on the 29th. I have to ship my compters
sooner, so I'll likely be out of touch for about a week. If you want to flame
me during that time, fine. Just understand that I'm not diliberately, NOT
answering:)
