Well everybody knows that, but a database of some 50 000 games with several hundred games for each program shows a bit more to me than a five day world championship with 9 rounds Swiss system!!! In case the Swedes give up every serious observer of this scene can imagine what will happen. We had enough examples already of "tests" by interested parties. And contrary to some people here who are engaged to their only and single love baby, some Swedes are obviously tired and fed up of testing year in and out. It was not that some sinister souls in Sweden had some dark thoughts which program they should push on top. Most testers have worked for many years now and they do just not care anymore which program wins or loses! Bert/gambitsoft.com
