Lindows is Linux. HIARCS certainly won't work natively, although there are
windows emulators around - you could ask at:
http://www.winehq.org/ or
http://www.codeweavers.com/
to see if anyone has tried it. However, if your main purpose is to run chess
programs, I would recommend paying for a box with Windows.
