Magellan (Atlanta) is rated just under 2200(high 2190's) and early testing in Europe rates the SS at around 2150,however i have played plenty of games against both computers and i think the SS is stronger(certainly at Blitz Games) in addition i have pitted both against the Tasc R40 and the SS WENT 4-0(game /30 min) i pitted the Atlanta against the R40 sometime ago(5 GAMES 30/MIN) and i dont recall exactly the result but it was something like R40..3.5-1.5) now of course i did not use rigourous testing methods and my resluts are certainly not statistically exhaustive or even statisically valid but against HUMANS i think the SS is a tougher opponent Steve They are both weaker >than CG and PF2 on a Dell Axim. That would be good match [Star Diamond vs >Atlanta (current Magellan)] for SSDF to run.
