We have received word from Karsten Bauermeister, Komputer Korner, and Peter Kappler that they were not going to run for moderator. We are awaiting word from Richard Fowell, but in the meantime we have received moderation philosophy responses from the eight other active nominees. They are (in no particular order): Larry Tamarkin Peter McKenzie Detlev Pordzik Will Singleton Dann Corbit Reynolds Takata Dave Gomboc Harold Faber If you wish to see their philosophies, please click on the "Computer Chess Resource Center" link at the top of this page, and then "Computer-Chess Club Moderator Elections". We are hoping to start the voting process on Wednesday (December 23rd) or Thursday (December 24th). So if anyone has any questions for the moderator nominees or comments in general, now is a good time to air them on the message board. The voting will go on for a one week period. We will announce the final results on either Wednesday, December 30 or Thursday, December 31st. - Steve (ICD/Your Move)
