The bottom position is from the Chess Informant anotations of the famous game 19
of the Spassky - Petrosian match in 1969.  A position from this game is Nolot #
5

and there is a recent thread regarding this game.



I am pretty sure it is a forced mate starting with 1.... Rg5!! although I am
still awaiting confirmation. GM Geller  provided this move in his annotations
,but he did not indicate it was mate.
