hi ! Ok, we often read here, 40 games is not enough... 100 neither. Any case in most of the tournaments played by Shredder 8 you will see that it is 1st. So why not say that Shredder 8 is actually clearly the best program. If we cannot say that, we can not say that Kasparov is stronger than e.g. Timman. Any case when you look close to the manner Shredder plays, you will see that it plays at a higher level than Fritz 8. And to those that would like to say me to proof it, I will say, I don’t want to waist my time by posting many examples. So actually Shredder 8 is the best. rgds
