Hello Heiner, I really forgot: No need to implement a ´playing mode´ in ChestUCI - it already exists! If you set ´DefenderMoves=on´, then you can play a ´normal´ game against Chest - it will always answer with the ´best´ move, i.e. a move which avoids a ´mate in n´ (if possible), or at least give the best (longest) defence. (with ´SearchDepth´ you could select its strength) You see, the team Chest+ChestUCI is really _great_ ... :-)) Regards, Franz.
