I'm fine with 11 rounds swiss of course. One misses only two other opponents. OTOH i would like to keep the tension a bit longer. Two rounds more for round robin seems not possible due to time scheduling. What about Bob's proposal: Six round swiss with double rounds. Or to keep the 11 rounds in total: The first round as usual (strong-weak) and the remaining 10 rounds as 5 double rounds where each player has either white and black? I like the idea, one problem might be whether the pairing program is able to handle such modes. Gerd
