Shredder is still favourite even with 2:1 hardware advantage for Crafty. Big hardware advantage can help but even with 8 processors that crafty is not going to have Crafty is not going to have more than 2:1 hardware advantage. In the CCT shredder did not play and shredder is clearly better than Junior. I believe that in the CCT Crafty had more than 2:1 hardware advantage relative to Junior and the important tournament for the commercial programs is WCC and not CCT. After reading peter berger's post I expect Crafty only to get 5.5/11 or 6/11. (better than most of the amatuers but weaker than Shreeder,Junior,Fritz). Uri
