I believe to directly answer your question, there is no switch. If Crafty can find the EGTB files and you have allocated some memory for them then it will use the files in it's search. Simply testing the engine with 5 men will tell you if it can find/use the files. It should also show probes during search with more than 5 men if given enough time. Jim
