Contact the organizer to be sure and get the right info on what you need to do
with the computer over-night.

I like your choice of computer. It's very fast, even with one processor, but
allows for expansion to a dual, and updating to 64-bit computing OS, later on,
which is very good, imo.

I don't understand your comment about "testing with pondering off, because the
others test with pondering on," etc. One purpose of testing is to put your
program into the same environment that you will be competing in - and that is
with pondering on. As soon as you can test in that mode, it seems wise to do so.

I'm glad you're not building your own computer up. This seems like the time to
be working on your program, not learning to work on hardware. Maybe after the
WCCC, when you have more free time, that would be a fun thing to learn,
sometime. Right now, you have already got your work cut out for you.

While we might suggest many different systems to use, the real answer of course,
is what system can you get delivered in time for some testing and shake-down,
before the competition?

I think the only way to know that is to call the system sellers in your country.
From the u.s., I have no idea of what system could be delivered, when, to
israel.

Good luck in WCCC, Uri.
