That's why he needed the exact starting times of each round, confirmed, ASAP. The computer won't have to go to israel. In AMD's case, they are interested in Crafty's performance parameters, of course. It could result in good advertising/promotion material for them, but they don't have many of the very hottest MP boxes, just sitting around, waiting for Bob's requests. I doubt if the university has anything like these AMD 4 or 8 CPU boxes. He tries for the very latest system. Dave
