Slate & Atkins had a Cyber, Hyatt, Nelson, and Glover had a Cray, and Belle was denied exit from the u.s. to compete in the WCCC in Austria. While Belle was feasible to transport, the mainframes certainly were not!! :) Naturally, an operator must attend the event, and I'm sure they will want to validate such an entry by having logs for each game, made available, etc. The best way, of course, is to contact the ICGA, and request their full tournament rules. If you have to join the ICGA, however, that's not cheap. I would try competing in the CCT's and author's only on-line tournaments, and also try to attend the next WCCC/WMCCC, if finances allow. You always learn more about something by seeing it, firsthand. Good luck! Dave
