Perhaps both ways are valid. >Komputer Korner I can't believe you really stuck to this opinion. Getting stronger can't only be done by background analysis of programs. IF this function is used then you can be sure it is just because to check for tactical possibilities but not to LEARN WHY that move is sound and good. You make the move and check for tactical holes, nothing more nothing less. Masters certainly have an idea if the move could have a hole. But they won't do this as training.
