I have used Windows ME from the beginning with this 4 year old computer without a problem. If it is in fact low system resouces, this problem is not specific to Fritz but with any other chess playing program. Close all other programs while playing on Playchess.com so that your Fritz is the only program running and see if that helps. DHM
