I think I'll try to patent GEN for all XxY boards ( FEN is a subset that will soon be illegal) - but it also has a pope piece I just invented ( queen combined with knight, but it can also capture e.p. on Fridays). I think this will also be the end of diagrams at CCC - unless Steve Schwartz buys some cheap licences ( I'll make a special price for him at 1$/year)). I hope anyone who is sceptical about the legal value of this patent is well-prepared to face a lawsuit in Germany ;) Peter
