Sorry for the off-topic post, but I figure it is best to ask here than anywhere
as there are some great linux users here.

I am trying to make a "shortcut" for Ruffian that I want to launch in Linux

Here is what I have done:

#! /bin/sh
xboard -zp -ics -icshost chessclub.com -icsport 5000 -telnet -telnetProgram
timeseal -fd /home/user/ruffian210 -fcp ./ruffian -size Slim -autoflag -top
-queen -autoflip -autoraise -ponder -periodic -thinking

Than I saved it to the desktop as ruffianicc.bat

I chmod u+x ruffian.bat

And then when I try to execute it, nothing happens. The commandline is correct
as I can start it in a shell.

Am I doing something wrong to make it "executable"?

Thanks
