after seeing Steven Blincoe buying, and also pointing out many sales at ebay, I wonder what other members are allowed to buy/sell here. could someone give their opinion on what can be bought and sold at this site. can anyone sell old chess cds? can we try to buy old chess cds here? can we do like Steven and just post whenever to try to buy chess programs and/or sell the same? If all this buying and selling is tolerated, I would think any member should be able to sell his chess pcs and chess pc parts---we all run our programs with these. if we are fair and let all members buy and sell here, maybe we can let each member post four times a day to buy or sell, lets see, 100 members post 4 times a day, why thats only 400, for sale or wanted posts each day. we could have everyone that is buying say they are not selling. we could have everyone that is selling say they never buy. we could just say we are buying to leave to our estate for our kids to sell in a garage sale. maybe someone can get a bunch of shirts made up with their favorite programmer on it and sell those here. how about ash trays with a picture of a nude Tiger on it--can we sell that? what about designer jeans made by Chessbase, can we sell these? How about some chess computer wine? lots of people like to sip wine while playing against Shredder 8. etc..... kburcham Charter: Once a member gains access to the message board, he may read all messages and post new or response messages with the provison that these new or response messages: Are, within reason, on the topic of computer chess Are not abusive in nature Do not contain personal and/or libelous attacks on others Are not flagrant commercial exhortations Are not of questionable legal status.
