Crafty probes tables deep into the tree, but not in the q-search.  It always
has. The trick to make this work is that you only probe under the following
conditions:

1.  only probe a position which has N pieces or less, where you have N pieces on
the board;

2.  only probe after a capture.  If you didn't capture, then either the current
is already a table position and you would not be searching, or else it is a
position for a table you don't have.

To summarize, crafty only probes after a capture, as any other probes would be a
waste of time...
