I really wouldn't consider this proof, though.  I mean, if I were mass-marketing
a program I would written, it is unlikely that I would write "This program is
only intended to be used by mediocre players, at best.  Serious players should
look elsewhere."  Not only would I lose the serious players, but the people who
would likely enjoy it would be turned off by the idea that it isn't the "best"
program out there.

BTW, I personally enjoy the various CM personalities.  It's nice to be able to
pick an opponent that I have a shot at beating. :)  But manufacturer promotional
info has to be taken with a grain of salt, at best.

Likewise, a stated purpose does not reflect a program's ability to deliver (not
talking about CM or anyone else, just a general statement).
