Hi Robert, This is my current commandline to connect Ruffian to ICC (And Crafty to FICS, but of course changed to suit FICS). Everything starts just fine now, and plays. The problem is I am getting "broken pipe" errors all the time.(I get this error with both Ruffian and Crafty on FICS). Should I be using -reuse in the commandline? xboard -zp -ics -icshost 65.245.208.34 -icsport 5000 -telnet -telnetProgram timestamp -fd /home/somnus/ruffian210 -fcp ./ruffian -xrm '*zippyGameEnd: ga1 \nga2\nga3\n' -size Slim -autoflag -autoraise -ponder -autoflip -thinking -icslogon ruff.txt And it is no longer called ruffian.bat :) Although I still used ruff.txt for the login information :) Peter
