I don't know whether this has been fixed or not, but I have been using the above for years and have never tried using a domain name instead. No idea whether it will work or not... Another possibility is that a few years back ICC moved around, and for a while "chessclub.com" resolved to the wrong IP as Sleator tried to find an ISP with minimal "lag". That might be the reason it is in my shell script today...
