Subject: Fritz mark & hash table size - What do the results mean?

AMD Athlon xp 2800+ (2.08 GHz) 512MB DDR SDRAM. ( Hard Drive Ultra DMA 120 GB)

Fritz F8.0023 says max Hash 335 MB. Fritz mark = Ten(10)tests each hash size.

 Hash: 32 - Fritz Mark (FM) = 1167
       64 - = 1167
       96 - = 1167
       128 - = 1151
       256 - = 1135

What does this information mean? I am not quite sure how to interprete it!
One thing is very obvious;the bigger the hash table the lower the FM.

I have read here that the longer time levels in chess require a larger
  hash size.
What is the relation between the FM which can be seen above as diminishing
and the requirement for large hash tables for longer time chess games?

And a second part to this question;how do these FM's compare to others.

Thanks for any replies - Alan
