thanks Daniel for your answer

Well, my english seems not good enough and I think that you did not understand
this question so I will reformulate it.

2) Was there a way for Mach II owners to upgrade themselves their computer to
the Mach III ?
for example, by getting from Fidelity Electronics the instructions as well as a
new ROM (and may be RAMs too) and do the upgrade at home.

Additional question :
in an old answer, our guru Steve wrote :
"2)Fidelity also preformed factory authorized upgrades from the Mach III to the
Mach IV retaining the 6098 model number. "
Is there a way to distinguish such an upgraded Mach III->IV from an true Mach
III ?

Thanks again

Alain
