Because of a certain brain defect I have, I see everything in pictures.  I have
a lady friend who sees *nothing* in pictures.  She can't even close her eyes and
visualize her husband's face.  I find that things that work well for me do not
work as well for others.  For me, if I can't somehow visualize a concept as
images, then I don't really understand it yet.  I know of people for which my
ways of learning do not work at all.  So I think that optimal learning
techniques are going to be different from person to person.
