Hello John,
Well I did get it to finally play.  I also found a version of DirectX9.0b for
Win98 to download.  I had to select the 2D only screens.  It also will not seem
to let me play vs the ChessMaster personality or change levels.  So far I see
nothing to entice me to buy it.  Of course I will since I own all since
ChessMaster 2100 and it's still my favorite program to play against.
