Yeah the xl compiler is IBM's.. I used their beta edition when it was free
several months back and it seemed to be quicker than gcc. Was getting about
15-20% increase in crafty.

It's very expensive but someone posted on here a couple weeks ago that they are
offering it for a "? 30 day" evaluation.

As for xcode vs Codewarrior have no idea.
I've heard Codewarrior is really good, but didnt know it was still around.
Did they port it to OS X? If so know how much it costs? Would be interested in
checking it out sometime.
