some comments ;-)

- the 3200+ is clocked at 2.0 GHz so not a big difference for chess (see post
above).
- I strongly suggest 1024 MB Hash since it is the 2nd main factor of speed of a
system
- There is LAN on Board so I don't know whether you need an additiona network
card
- Win XP Home will probably satisfy your needs unless you plan to use this
system as a network server
