I am presently using a DSL Connection........Will that be fast enough for downloading 6 man Tablebases.? I have created 4 partitions on my 80 gig Harddrive. C: Drive 20 gig for my OS and some basic applications like MS OFFICE and CD/DVD Writing Program, Back up programs. D: Drive 12 GIG, for Chess Programs and other Miscellaneous Applications. E: Drive 12 Gig, for most saved Documents that I manually save when saving from an Application like Word or Excel or Fritz 8 etc., or Copied and Pasted folders and Files from Floppy or CD/DVD. F:Drive 30 Gig, for Tablebase files only. Also, my Tablebase folder is in a partioned logical drive. The drive is 30 Gig. The Tablebase files I already have (All 3,4 and 5 men) is using well over 7 Gig. Since I will only have 23 remaining Gig to use,do you have any suggestions, as to what 6 man Tablebases are more important? And lastly, since with only one partition, it is recommended to always leave 10-20 percent of empty harddrive space, for various reasons...(Operating System and Swapping being some of them), with a partitioned Harddrive, should I leave some empty space on the drive I am using for the Tablebases? Thanks Brian
