Yeah I thought about the same thing with the new car I was considering
purchasing.  My old one will get me to point A and B, and so will the new one.
Although the new one does have some newer bells and whistles it does complete
the same task just like my old one.  So do I keep the old one or purchase the
new.  My purchasing list DOES include the new!!
