In the Chessmaster Demo folder there is a file named "theking.exe" . This is the CM10K engine file. In the CM9K folder , there is another file named the "theking.exe". This the Cm9K engine file. So you don't overwrite the original CM9K engine file rename it to something else - "thekingcm9k.exe" or something simliar . Copy the "theking.exe" file from the 10K demo folder to the cm9k folder (the folder that now as "thekingcm9k.exe" file). The Cm9K gui will load the the file "theking.exe" when you start her up. That's it, I do not believe I can tell it any simpler, but perhaps somebody else can.
