As pointed out by someone before, the Microsoft Visual C++ Toolkit 2003 is freely available here : http://msdn.microsoft.com/visualc/vctoolkit2003/ According to the presented information, it has the same *optimizing* compiler and linker as Visual Studio .NET 2003 Professional. It can produce both native and managed code. Note the Visual Studio .NET IDE is not included. Cheers, Steffan
