So it makes sense to use the STRONGEST engine >possible to learn with. :-) well for me it dosent work that way yes i agree to have a program 400-500 points stronger makes sense to improve ones game after that..to have a program 600,700 1000 points stronger add on and on really provides nothing to the learning experience to buy 5 stronger versions of CM(6K,7K,8K,9K,10K)WHEN 5500 is already perhaps 500 points stronger seemed to be just silly for me add this to 5 versions of Fritz another 6 versions for Shredder etc etc and i would have nearly 20 programs that can beat me just as easily as the original 3 i think people upgrade for different reasons then to get a equal or stronger opponent Like Bill Clinton wrote in his newly released memoir "My Life" he had sex with Monica "because he COULD" I think many people automatically rush out without even thinking why they are upgrading because they CAN Steve
