But there is nothing wrong with users who enjoy trying to stay up to date by acquiring the latest and greatest. They can always keep the older, weaker programs to actually play against. And there are hundreds of free engines of all strengths for this purpose. People pay to watch football, baseball, or basketball games, even though they are not "playing". Why is this? The answer is simple, they enjoy it. :-) Regards Dave
