Hi all, The new King engine entered my tourney, but not with much success for the default settings. Surprisingly, it scored even weaker than the >4 year old CM8000 ! However, as with the other TheKing versions, tuning gives a huge Elo-increase. I tried so far 5 of the good performing CM9000 settings. Not all worked well with the new King engine, however, the BUC Blitz settings showed to be very good, very close to the Top. I think there should be space for more tuning, since the engine is just out. Nevertheless, I'm surprised about the extreme weak performance of the default settings, especially because Johan certainly noticed what to change in the default settings (although he didn't liked all changes). Maybe we will see a different default setting in the final release? Axel here part of my list (5+1 Blitz games).
