To answer your 1st question: You do not need to do this to run TheKing 3.33 in
CM9K. My original post is for using then new King 3.33 or the old King 3.23,
OUTSIDE the chessmaster gui.

To answer your 2nd question: What will it say in "about", I don't know, and what
difference would it make?
